Shafiqa binte Abdullah is a Legal Executive in the Intellectual Property (IP) Practice.

She specialises in trademark matters and oversees the trademark portfolios for numerous local and international clients. Shafiqa handles a full range of trademark prosecution work and trademark applications.

Shafiqa’s experience as a patents manager gave her charge of the filing and prosecution of Singapore patent and registered designs applications. She has also handled the prosecution of trademark applications, including providing advice for trademark availability searches.

Shafiqa regularly participates in IP-related courses and seminars. She has attended the regional capacity-building workshop on Patent Drafting co-conducted by World Intellectual Property Organization and the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore, as well as other workshops organised by the IP Academy (Singapore).
