Lim Teck Yeow is a Partner in the Intellectual Property (IP) Practice and heads the Patents Division (Life Sciences & Chemical Group) practice area.

As a registered Patent Attorney, Teck Yeow handles all aspects of patents law, including drafting of patent specifications and providing validity, infringement and freedom to operate analyses in various fields. His work covers technology in the areas of biomedical devices, tissue engineering, medicine, pharmaceutical sciences, food sciences, biotechnology, organic and inorganic chemistry, polymers, biochemistry, nanotechnology, and materials engineering.

Teck Yeow is active in sharing his domain knowledge in IP and was appointed lecturer for patent-related modules offered by the National University of Singapore and the Singapore University of Social Sciences. He was also invited to a Japanese university to speak about IP strategies within the Southeast Asia region.

Teck Yeow is also a member of the Examination Committee for the Singapore Patent Agents Qualifying Examination, and has been tasked with setting and marking the Patent Agents Qualifying Examination papers in Singapore.

He is a member of the Association of Singapore Patent Attorneys and an Associate Mediator accredited by the Singapore Mediation Centre.

Teck Yeow graduated with a B.Eng (Hons.) in Bioengineering in 2007 and later was conferred an MSc in Intellectual Property Management by the National University of Singapore. He was placed on the Dean’s List during his Bioengineering course.
