Julie Woon is a Partner in the Real Estate and Trusts Practice.

Julie’s experience entails acting for banks in arranging for securities for property acquisitions by individuals and companies, as well as serving private clients and foreign trust companies in wealth management and related securities.

Presently, Julie continues to concentrate primarily on the banking and real estate practice — acting for banks in handling mortgages and debentures with charges covering all assets such as charges over machinery, equipment, receivables, cash deposits, redemptions of such mortgages and discharges of such debentures, as well as arranging securities for residential, commercial and industrial properties, and construction projects.

Prior to Donaldson & Burkinshaw, Julie was a founding partner of JurisOne LLP (2009 - 2022). She had also been appointed a Consultant with ComLaw LLC (2002 - 2009) and was a partner at Rodyk & Davidson (1984 - 2002).

Since 2003, Julie has been a member of the Inquiry Committee of the Law Society.

Julie graduated with an LL.B. (Hons.) from the University of Singapore in 1979 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Singapore Bar in 1980.
