Billy Lau is a Partner in the Corporate and Commercial Practice.

His areas of practice include corporate finance, reverse takeovers, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, regulatory compliance and corporate governance, as well as advisory, corporate and commercial contracts.

Billy is experienced in working with numerous listed companies, finance houses and investment banks in initial public offerings, reverse takeovers, secondary fund-raising and general offers.

He was previously a registered professional, undertaking continuing sponsorship of companies listed on the Catalist of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited.

Billy graduated from the University of Sheffield with an LL.B (Hons.) in 1999 and was awarded an LL.M (Chinese Law) from the National University of Singapore in 2005. He is admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor to both the High Court of Malaya and the Supreme Court of Singapore.
