Diane Ng is a partner in the Real Estate and Trusts Practice specialising in real estate and banking matters.
Her extensive experience includes acting for purchasers and vendors of private, commercial and industrial properties,
drafting and vetting tenancy/lease agreements, handling redemptions of mortgages and discharges of various charges,
dealing with debentures/charges covering various assets such as machinery, equipment, floor stock, receivables, shares
and cash deposits, monitoring the drawdown of construction loans and securities over residential, commercial and industrial
properties. She has also been involved in obtaining legal opinions from various jurisdictions.
Before joining Donaldson & Burkinshaw on 1 November 2022, Diane was a founding partner of JurisOne LLP (2009 to 2022). She
was also a Consultant at ComLaw LLC (2002 to 2009) and prior to that, a partner at Rodyk & Davidson (1987 to 2002).
Diane is an appointed Adjudicator on the Panel of Adjudicators for the Law Society’s Expedited Adjudication Scheme (in
relation to the Conveyancing Law of Property (Conveyancing) Rules 2011).
Diane graduated with an LL.B. (Hons.) (Second Upper) from the University of Singapore in 1982 and was admitted as an
Advocate and Solicitor of the Singapore Bar in 1983. She later did her master’s degree in law at King’s College London
and graduated with an LL.M (London) in 1986.
