Lee Shy Tsong is a Partner in the Intellectual Property Practice.

Shy Tsong specialises in all areas of intellectual property (IP) law. He has extensive experience in IP registration and manages IP portfolios worldwide.

He has assisted clients in the following aspects:

• advisory services across the full spectrum of IP issues, entertainment law, digital media, internet and information technology, electronic commerce, media and advertising
• searching, clearance (including risk management and regulatory compliance), protection, management and maintenance of IP rights including trademarks, service marks, patents and designs
• commercialisation, exploitation and licensing of IP rights including trademarks and technology transfers, licensing, agency and distributorship, and franchising
• protection of copyright
• confidential information and non-disclosure agreements

Shy Tsong regularly attends IP conferences organised by the Asian Patent Attorney Association, ASEAN Intellectual Property Association and Japan Patent Attorneys Association. He also conducts talks and seminars on IP laws and practices.

He is a registered Patent Agent in Singapore and a member of the Association of Singapore Patent Attorneys. Shy Tsong is also a registered Trademark and Industrial Design Agent in Malaysia.

Shy Tsong graduated with a LL.B (Hons.) from the National University of Singapore in 1993 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1994. He also holds an Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies.
